Avio-Diepen owes its name and existence to Mr. Frits Diepen, a Dutch aviation pioneer, who founded the company in 1946. After being a part of Fokker Aircraft for more than 40 years, Avio-Diepen became an independent company in 1995. Continuing the legacy set by Mr. Frits Diepen and further experience gained as part of Fokker Aircraft, Avio-Diepen became a leading distributor in aerospace parts and components. Growth and Expansion
Avio-Diepen set up warehouse and sales facilities in Atlanta, Georgia (AD-US) followed by facilities near London, in the UK (AD- UK), where a sales and distribution centre was established. In order to continue serving our growing customer base, Avio-Diepen opened a sales and distribution center in Hong Kong (AD-HK), followed by a distribution center in Beijing.
In addition to global representation, we want to provide optimal customer service. All our operational companies are linked by automated systems allowing efficient communication and customer service.
Introducing our Value Adding Services
In response to requests for expert advise in the field of supply chain and material management, Avio-Diepen has been offering a constantly increasing spectrum of services.
Avio-Diepen launched ADcommerce in 2001. ADcommerce is our online portal allowing for RFQ’s, ordering, tracking and tracing.
We proudly launched ADvalue, our on site full material management and delivery program, in 2002. In 2003, CNN named us champions of the industry.
Cost Saving & Efficient
Recognizing the demand for cost saving alternatives we expanded our activities. We received our EN9120 certification in 2006, and signed with Boeing for participation in IMM/Goldcare. Later that year we acquired the inventory and trade activities of Schreiner & Co and renamed the company AD-S&Co.
On Apr 8, 2008, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Customer Service Company Limited (CSACS, formerly ACAC) and AD-HK signed a MOU for long-term strategic business cooperation. Both companies will jointly develop and implement a competitive worldwide aviation spare support management system to satisfy customers.
