Information Technology Analyst (Based in the Netherlands)

In the position of IT Analyst you will be primary responsible for IT systems, security and end-user (desktop) support for the Alphen site. This all in order to support the organization in meeting its performance targets through the development and maintenance of information systems. This position reports into Jessica DePhillips, Programmer/Helpdesk Manager.


Typical day-to-day responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Implementing and managing IT systems, phone systems, applications, security and network configurations for assigned facilities and users
  • Being responsible for evaluating operational efficiency of different IT systems
  • Supporting, maintaining and monitoring internal and external networks
  • Resolving Helpdesk tickets and providing technical assistance to end users by answering questions or troubleshooting issues. Document those interactions with end users and recommend improvements
  • Resolving IT performance issues and establishing a disaster recovery plan
  • Providing support or managing other projects and duties as required to fulfill organizational information technology needs and promote continuous improvement
  • IT Analyst may perform other duties from time-to-time as required to fulfill organizational needs.




What we believe is the right skill set to be successful in this position:

  • 3-5 years of prior experience in generalized IT systems and end user support
  • At least an MBO (Associate's) degree in IT or a related field. Related professional certifications and training are highly desirable
  • Comprehensive generalized IT knowledge in:
  • PC hardware/software installation and configuration, Computer networks and standard operating systems, VmWare , Basic programming, Web technologies, EDI and supply chain, Standard ERP and CRM platforms, MS Client and Server Operating Systems
  • Knowledge and prior experience with Active Directory, Sharepoint and SalesForce (preferred).
  • Reliable, friendly, trustworthy and professional team player, driven to provide outstanding service to internal customers.  Values integrity and respects confidentiality
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.  Able to understand and effectively communicate technical information and requirements to end users and to translate internal customer needs and business implications to IT leadership
  • Exhibit professional behavior (Integrity, Agility, Intelligence and Empathy)
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
  • Puts first things first.  Able to effectively prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and proactively manage time in order to meet deadlines and customer demands
