Inside Sales Manager (Based in the Netherlands)

The Inside Sales Manager leads a team of Inside Sales Representatives (12 employees) who are responsible for quoting activities, developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase the sales of our company’s products and services. During an average day, the Inside Sales Manager reviews the KPI’s and results of the previous work day. Based on this information, he or she assigns actions and tasks to the individual team members. Hereafter, the Inside Sales Manager responds to emails and works on ongoing innovation/ improvement projects. In the afternoon, the manager has brief 1-1 meetings with the individual team members.

 

We are looking for a manager with strong people skills who has the ability to steer commercially drive the team members and ensuring they continuously and proactively approach our customers before and after quoting. This candidate will stimulate collaboration within the team  to ensure the team acts like a single unit marching in the same direction. Moreover, the manager embraces change and has the ability to ensure the team members respond positively and efficiently in unity.

The Inside Sales Manager reports into the Director of Sales.

Summary

Within this position you:

  • are responsible for planning and implementing sales activities to meet company targets, maintain profitability, establish customer relationships, and work towards growth and the continuous improvement of all aspects of the Inside Sales function. 
  • support the strategic vision and goals of our company and ensure that the Inside Sales strategy is well-communicated;
  • ensure employee performance outcomes and behavior are in alignment;
  • champion individual professional development within the team and make time to mentor;
  • empower the team with what they need to complete their daily tasks via servant leadership principles; and
  • ensure there is proper and complete communication between internal team members and external stakeholders.

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements

Our ideal candidate

  • has a bachelor degree or similar level due to work experience within the industry and other professional (business) training;
  • has 2-3 Years leadership experience, leading a multi-cultural team;
  • has 5 Years of related sales experience in an international trade organization, experience in technical sales, preferably has Aviation Industry knowledge;
  • is generally proficient with ERP Software and Salesforce or Similar CRM Applications;
  • has great rapport building skills and relationship management skills;
  • has extensive experience in Consultative Selling;
  • Has fluent Dutch and English written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
