Inside Sales Representative (Based in the Netherlands)

Within the position of Inside Sales Representative, you are responsible for executing all sales tasks for the group of small to midsize customers. More specifically, this means you will develop a defined number of these high potential customers, within an agreed timeframe, into a prospect for Sales. You will maintain day-to-day contacts with customers, colleagues and suppliers in order to meet the customer requirements while building and maintaining customer relationships. All the mentioned tasks are aimed toward realizing / meeting the set sales targets and developing yourself to be a successful Inside Sales Representative.

 Tasks & responsibilities

  • Prepare an overall action plan for potential customers and monitor progress,
  • Determine priorities between customers and orders,
  • Gather info and make quotations for all “other” customers, while monitoring these quotations and following up,
  • Contact potential customers in the assigned market to generate new sales (after consulting the IS&CS Manager),
  • Proactive tele-selling and updating customers, including cross selling,
  • Proactively promote and sell excess stock items, including slow and non-moving stock,
  • Investigate and develop new sales with existing customers and evaluate new sales,
  •  Participate actively in meetings/projects/trainings regarding the sales department,
  •  Take ownership of post-delivery customer service needs,
  • Participate in commercial projects,
  • Coordinate with Finance to set up new and existing customers on credit terms,
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding credit‑limit situation,
  • Monitor customer contracts, in the assigned areas in the organization.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Have the ability to communicate at all levels,
  • Exhibit professional behavior (Integrity, Agility, Intelligence and Empathy),
  • Have a Bachelor degree or similar level due to work experience and other professional (business) training,
  • Have a good understanding of the aerospace industry, either technically or due to previous experience in a customer related position within our industry,
  • Have solid communication skills in the Dutch & English Language. A 3rd language like German or French is a plus.
