Product Support Officer, part-time 20h/w

(Based in The Netherlands)

As Product Support Officer, you will support the global organization by gathering, maintaining and analyzing part and price data, product information and supplier related information. You collaborate closely with a wide variety of our professionals such as Product Managers, Sourcing Managers, Purchase & Inventory Managers, Quality Manager, Export Compliance Manager and Logistics professionals. You will maintain good contacts with suppliers to gather the required information based on customer requests as well as pro-actively ensuring that the required information is accessible to the organization. The Product Support Officer reports to the Supervisor Product Management Support.

Summary

Within this position you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the availability and quality of documented part data, product information and supplier related information in our information systems.
  • Requesting, processing and maintaining price & product information.
  • Running standard reports.
  • The timely and adequate handling of support requests from other departments within our organization.

 

Qualifications / Requirements for Success

Our ideal candidate preferably has:

  • Intermediate vocational education (MBO).
  • Excellent MS Office (Excel: seasoned, preferably also advanced level Access) and data analysis skills. This is a must.
  • Good English communication skills and proficiency in Dutch.
  • Strong accuracy skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP software.
  • A strong work ethic emphasizing teamwork, has good attendance, is service orientated and has  a positive attitude.
